D-4/1 in Okhla Industrial Area, Phase II is where we are. This part of Delhi is always moving. There are trucks everywhere and the noise of machines never really stops during the day. Our building is right in the middle of all that action. It is an industrial space, so it is built for work, not for looking pretty. We have the office upstairs and the main area downstairs where all the clothing is handled. The stairs are a bit narrow and the floor is concrete. It gets noisy when the neighbor's factory is running full speed. We’ve been in Phase II for quite some time. You get used to the dust and the heat after a while. We have our routines. Someone brings the tea, we check the manifests, and we move the stock around. It’s not a place where you’d come for a walk, but for what we do, it works fine. The gate is usually open from early morning. We spend a lot of time on the phone or talking to the drivers who bring the supplies. It’s a busy life here in Okhla. Sometimes the power goes out and we just sit and wait or work by the windows until it comes back. We aren't trying to be anything we aren't. We are just a clothing company in a big industrial patch of the city. We keep busy and stay out of the way. It is just how it goes every day here.
