Golden Peakock Overseas Ltd,Noida

Even though the name says Noida, we are actually operating from 43, Anand Nagar in Naini, Allahabad. Golden Peakock Overseas Ltd has been part of this neighborhood for a good while. The building is a bit older, and the paint is peeling in a few spots, but it’s where all the work happens. We don’t have a team of people to make us look important. It’s just us handling the overseas side of things from a quiet street in Allahabad. The warehouse area gets a bit crowded when a big shipment comes in, and we usually have to move things around several times to make it all fit. It’s hard work, and we all pitch in regardless of what our actual job title is. We don't go in for fancy talk or corporate slogans. We’d rather just focus on making sure the boxes are packed right and the addresses are correct. Some days are slow and we spend a lot of time drinking tea and talking, and other days we barely have time to sit down. That’s just the nature of the business. We know the guys at the local shipping office well, and they know us. It’s a simple, local way of doing international business without all the unnecessary fluff. The ceiling fan creaks a bit when it’s on high, but it keeps the air moving while we sort through the invoices. We just take things as they come and try to stay busy.
