G.D.C.Ltd is located right inside the staff housing area of the RPL site in Moti Khawdi. We are in block F/4/15-3. Jamnagar is a big industrial hub, and being located so close to the site means we are always in the middle of the action. It is a very specific kind of place to live and work. Most of the people around us are also working on projects nearby, so there is a real sense of being part of a big operation. Our office is basically just a part of the housing complex that we’ve turned into a workspace. It’s not very large, but it serves its purpose for keeping our records and meeting with the crew. We spend a lot of our time out on the actual site, so the office is often quiet during the middle of the day. We don't have any fancy signs or big logos on the wall. We just have the basics. Life in Moti Khawdi is focused on work, and that’s how we like it. We aren't here to win any awards for our office decor. We just want to make sure the tasks we are assigned get finished on time without any trouble. It can get very hot and dusty out here in this part of Gujarat, but we’ve all gotten used to it. We just take it one day at a time and focus on the job at hand. It’s a simple, hardworking lifestyle for us.
