G.B.L.

Our small office is tucked away in Sultanpur, right in the heart of Uttar Pradesh. It is not a very big operation, just a few of us here making sure things keep moving along every day. The town can get quite dusty and hot during the summer months, so we usually have the fans going full blast just to stay comfortable while we work. We do not have a massive sign or anything like that, just G.B.L. written out on the door. Most people in the area know where we are anyway. We started here because it was convenient, and we never really felt the need to move to a bigger city like Lucknow or Kanpur. Life moves a bit slower here compared to the metros, which suits us just fine. We show up early, open the doors, and start going through our logs for the day. Sometimes the electricity goes out for a bit, so we just take a break and sit outside until it comes back on. It is a simple way of working, without any of the high-pressure stuff you see in other places. We deal with locals mostly, and everyone knows everyone else’s business in this part of town. It feels more like a community than just a place of work. We have been part of this landscape for a long time now, and we do not plan on changing how we do things anytime soon.
