You can find us at A-32 in New Krishna Park, which is over in the Vikas Puri area of New Delhi. Being in Delhi, it's always a bit of a rush, but our little corner in New Krishna Park is a bit more manageable. Garware Wall Ropes Ltd uses this location to stay connected with our customers in the north. It’s not a huge office, but it’s ours and we’ve made it work for a long time. The team here is pretty tight-knit. We spend most of our hours tracking shipments, talking to vendors, and making sure the orders for our ropes are handled correctly. It’s a lot of logistical work, which means we are usually on the phone or staring at spreadsheets. We don't have a big corporate vibe here; it's more like a group of people who have worked together for so long that we know what everyone is thinking. Vikas Puri is an alright neighborhood to be in, and we like that we can just walk out and find whatever we need. Sometimes the days get long when there’s a delay, but we just stay until it’s fixed. We don't go in for big mission statements. We just want to do our jobs well and make sure the business stays steady. The metro isn't too far away, so some of us take that to get to Vikas Puri every morning. Our office has seen a lot of changes in the neighborhood over the years. We have cabinets full of old files and samples of different ropes sitting around. It’s a bit messy, but we know where everything is. We just come in, do the work that needs doing, and try to get home before the traffic gets too crazy. We just look after the customers and keep the business running as best we can.
