Ganpati Plywood & Moulding

We have been here in Pitampura at Rama Market 220-A/2 for quite a while now. Most days it is just us moving big sheets of plywood around and trying to keep the dust under control, which is basically impossible in a wood shop. People from around the neighborhood come in looking for specific sizes for their home cupboards or just a small piece of moulding to fix a broken door frame. It gets pretty crowded in the shop sometimes especially when a new truck arrives and we have to unload everything onto the stacks. The market itself is always busy so there is always noise outside. We spend a lot of time just measuring things and cutting them down to the right size for whoever walks in. It is not a fancy place or anything, just a regular shop with stacks of wood everywhere you look. My clothes usually have sawdust on them by noon. Sometimes people bring in drawings on scraps of paper and we try to figure out what they need from that. We have different kinds of boards and those decorative mouldings that people like for their ceilings or walls. It is a lot of heavy lifting and talking to carpenters who know exactly what they want or homeowners who are a bit confused about the different thicknesses. We just stay busy with the orders and keep the shop open until late evening most days of the week.
