Jk Jeans

Being located at No. 9/7164 in Durga Gali means we are right in the heart of Gandhi Nagar. It’s a narrow lane, so it can be a bit of a squeeze getting through sometimes. Jk Jeans is basically a workshop and a storage space rolled into one. There’s denim everywhere you look. Blue lint tends to settle on everything, no matter how much we clean. We’ve been working in Durga Gali for quite a while now. The space is a bit cramped, but it works for what we do. We spend hours at the cutting tables or checking the stitching on different pairs of jeans. It’s noisy because of the machines and the people shouting to each other in the lane outside. Gandhi Nagar is a busy hub, and we’re just a small part of that. We don't have a fancy showroom with mannequins in the window. It’s more of a practical place where the real work happens. Sometimes the power goes out, and we just have to sit and wait it out, which is frustrating but part of life here. We handle the heavy rolls of fabric ourselves, which is hard on the back. Jk Jeans isn't about being flashy. We just focus on getting the orders ready and making sure they get to where they need to go. It’s a lot of repetitive work, but we take it one day at a time.
