Working out of Mahila Colony in Gandhi Nagar is alright. We are tucked away on the first floor of building 28, right behind that IDBI Bank everyone uses. Our address actually lists it as behind IDBI Bank behind IDBI Bank, which is a bit of a repeat, but that’s how people find us. Arangers Retail India Pvt. Ltd. sounds like a big name, but it’s really just us in an office trying to get things done. Being behind the bank makes it easy to give directions, though people still get lost sometimes. It gets a bit noisy during bank hours with all the scooters and cars outside. We spend a lot of our day on the phone or checking lists. It’s not the most exciting work, but it’s ours. The space is a bit cramped when we get a lot of inventory in. We have to move boxes around just to reach the desk. Sometimes we forget to turn the sign on. It’s a basic setup with some chairs and a few computers that have seen better days. Gandhi Nagar is a busy area, so there is always someone around. We’ve been in this spot for a while now. Most days we just drink a lot of tea and try to stay organized. It’s hard to keep everything straight when things move fast, but we manage. We don’t really do fancy meetings. Usually, we just talk across the room if something needs doing. It’s practical.
