Aggarwal Uniform

We've been here on Subhash Road for a good while now. The shop is at number 9/1223, right near Main Pushta Road. It gets pretty crowded in the mornings when parents come in looking for specific sweaters or trousers for their kids. We keep a lot of fabric rolls around because things need to be stitched just right. Sometimes the colors change slightly from the factories, but we try to match them up so the kids look decent at school. It's mostly just us handling the measurements and making sure the buttons are on tight. Most people around here know where we are. We don't have a big fancy sign or anything, just the usual racks and a few mirrors. It’s a lot of work when the new school term starts. We spend most of the day cutting cloth or checking the stock in the back room. The dust from the road sometimes gets in, so we spend a lot of time cleaning the glass counters. People come in asking for different sizes, and we do our best to find what fits. Sometimes we run out of the most common sizes and have to wait for the next delivery. It's a simple shop, nothing too special, just doing what we do every day. We know most of the families who live nearby. It feels good when a kid grows out of one uniform and comes back for a bigger one a year later. We just keep going, day by day.
