We are over in Block A at J. J. Colony in the Khanpur area. If you know New Delhi, you know how tight the streets are around here. Our office is at number 151. It’s a standard brick building that blends in with everything else on the block. We use this place as our main hub for the projects we have going on in the city. It’s usually quite loud outside with the sounds of scooters and people selling things on the street. Inside, it’s a bit more peaceful. We have a few desks for the engineers and a space for the site supervisors to sit down and write their reports. The lighting isn't the best, so we keep the big windows open when the air isn't too dusty. We’ve been here for a while and the locals are used to seeing our vehicles parked out front. It’s not the kind of place with a receptionist or a fancy waiting area. You just walk in and find whoever you need to talk to. We keep the paperwork in some old metal cabinets that have been with us for years. Lunch usually involves someone going out to get parathas from the corner shop. It’s a practical, no-frills environment where we just focus on getting the day's work done. Sometimes the internet is slow, but we manage to stay connected with the other branches when we need to. It is just a basic office in a very busy part of the city.
