We’ve been sitting here at 16 Gail Bhawan in RK Puram for quite some time now. If you walk past our building, it’s just a regular spot where a bunch of us come every morning to handle the natural gas stuff. Most people don't think much about where their fuel comes from until the stove won't light, but we’re the ones making sure those pipes stay busy. It’s not all fancy meetings; usually, it’s just us looking at maps and talking to the guys out in the fields or on the pipelines. The office gets a bit hectic when there's a big project going on, and sometimes the tea is the only thing keeping us focused on the spreadsheets. We deal with a lot of heavy infrastructure, but inside these walls, it’s just people trying to get through the day's tasks. RK Puram is a busy area, and we fit right in with the noise and the traffic outside. We don’t try to be something we aren't. We just focus on getting the gas moved from one end of the country to the other. Sometimes things break or the weather gets in the way, and that’s when it gets really interesting around here. It's a job that keeps us on our toes, even if most of the work is done behind a desk or over a phone line. We’ve seen the neighborhood change over the years, but we’re still right here doing the same necessary work.
