G S S Industries is situated in Mayapuri Industrial Area Phase I, specifically at B-126/1. If you've ever been to Mayapuri, you know it’s a busy, dusty place full of workshops and heavy trucks. We fit right in. Our space is mostly taken up by heavy equipment and raw materials. We spend most of our time out on the floor, so the phone might ring a few times before someone picks it up. It’s not that we’re ignoring people, it’s just that it’s hard to hear over the noise of the cutting tools. We do a lot of manufacturing work for other businesses. It’s the kind of job where your hands are always dirty by lunchtime. We don't have a big sign out front or a fancy reception area. People usually find us through word of mouth or because they’ve been coming here for years. The guys working here have been around for a long time, so they know the machines inside and out. We deal with a lot of steel and various metal parts. Every day is a bit different depending on what orders came in the mail. We try to keep things moving so nothing sits around for too long. Space is tight in Phase I, so we have to stay organized, even if it looks a bit messy to an outsider. It’s just how an industrial shop looks when work is actually getting done.
