Frelancer

We have been set up at Jha House for quite a while now. It is a busy part of Delhi, right near the tomb area in Nizamuddin West. Our office is just in Flat No. 1, so it is not one of those big glass buildings you see in the fancy parts of town. We mostly just keep our heads down and get through the daily work. People sometimes have a hard time finding the entrance because the lanes around here are a bit tight and crowded with people and rickshaws. We like it here though. There is a lot of life right outside the window. Most days we are just sitting here drinking tea and handling whatever papers come across the desk. It started out small, just a couple of us trying to make something work, and it has stayed that way over the years. We do not have a big reception or anyone to greet you at the door. You just walk in and say hello. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint if I am being honest. It gets a bit noisy in the afternoons when the market is in full swing nearby. We have stayed in this spot because it feels like a real home and the rent does not kill us every month. Every morning is the same routine, opening the shutters and checking the mail. Sometimes the power goes out and we just wait it out or head downstairs for a snack.
