Fatima Boutique

The shop is at No. 6657 on Street Beri Wali, which is right in the heart of the Ahata Kidara area near Sadar Bazar. If you know the bazaar, you know how hectic it gets with all the people and carts moving around. We’ve been here in this spot for quite a while now. It’s not a huge place, just a regular boutique where we keep a variety of fabrics and ready clothes for whoever walks in. Most days start with us sweeping the front and getting the displays looking okay. The street is narrow and sometimes the noise from the main market reaches us, but we are used to it by now. We don't really do much advertising or anything like that. People just know we are here by word of mouth or they stumble upon us while shopping for other things in Sadar. My family helps out when it gets really busy, especially during the festival seasons when everyone wants something new to wear. We keep things simple and try to have enough stock so people don’t leave empty-handed. It’s a lot of manual work, checking the pieces and talking to customers about what they need for their weddings or daily wear. We just enjoy being part of the local community here. If you’re ever navigating through the Kidara area, you’ll find us easily enough near the other garment shops. It’s just a normal day-to-day business for us.
