We are located at B-253 in Okhla Phase 1. It’s a solid building, nothing too special to look at from the outside. Inside, it’s mostly just rows of workstations and a large area for quality checks. Since we do international work, we have to be quite careful about how things are packed before they go into the shipping containers. The air conditioning works when it wants to, so some days are more comfortable than others. We have a small kitchen area in the back where we make coffee and eat our lunch. Most of the staff has been with us for a few years, so we all know how the others work. It’s a lot of physical labor, moving crates and checking labels. We spend a lot of time looking at spreadsheets and tracking shipments across the ocean. Sometimes there are delays at the port which causes a bit of stress, but we just deal with it as it comes. The neighborhood is full of other factories, so there’s always a hum of activity in the air. We try to keep the place organized, but when a big order is due, things can get a bit cluttered with boxes and tape. It’s just a normal workplace with people trying to do their jobs well enough to get home on time. No one here wears a suit, that’s for sure. We use the back entrance for deliveries.
