Fairmacs International Ltd; New Delhi

Our office for Fairmacs International is situated in Pocket A-2, number 111, in Sector 3 of Rohini, New Delhi. It’s a standard Delhi office block where there’s always something going on in the hallways. We handle international logistics and services, so there’s a constant stream of paperwork involving shipping and customs. The desks are usually covered in documents and folders because we have to keep track of a lot of moving parts. It’s not a fancy corporate headquarters; it’s more of a functional hub where we get things done. We spend a lot of time on the computer or talking to people at the ports. The Rohini area is quite residential, but our little corner is focused on work. Sometimes the noise from the street is distracting, but we’re used to the hum of the city by now. We don't have a big marketing department or anyone writing fancy speeches. We just know how to move goods from one place to another and that’s what we stick to. The local metro station isn’t too far away, which is handy for some of the staff. We usually have some snacks around because the work can stretch into the evening when we’re waiting for updates from different time zones. It’s a busy, unpolished life, but it keeps us on our toes and the business moving forward.
