We are located in Phase-I, Pkt-6 in New Delhi. It's a busy part of the city to be in. Our business is pretty straightforward; we look after facilities. That means everything from making sure the water is running to checking that the structures are safe. Delhi can be a tough environment for buildings with the heat and the crowds. We spend our days running between different sites. Sometimes it feels like we are just chasing the next repair, but that is the nature of the job. We have a small office where we keep our records and plan out the week. The staff are all local and they know how things work in this part of town. We don't have a big corporate setup. It is just a few of us trying to do a decent job for the people who hire us. We use basic tools and common sense. If a client has a problem, they tell us and we go take a look. Usually, it's something we've seen a hundred times before. We don't make a big fuss about things. We just get the work done and move on to the next task. It's a living and it keeps us on our toes. There’s always something that needs fixing in a city as big as this one. Phase-I is always noisy, but we are used to it by now. We usually have lunch together in the small park nearby before heading back to the sites. It’s a simple life but it’s busy and it keeps us moving.
