F7 Indian Garments & Handicrafts

Our shop is tucked away at No. 2912 Lal Darwaza in Sirkiwalan. Being on Hamdar Marg means there is always a crowd and plenty of noise, which is just part of being in this area. We deal with garments and a lot of different handicrafts that come in from all over. It’s a bit cramped inside because we have so many items stacked up on the shelves. You have to be careful not to knock anything over when you walk through. We’ve been here for years, and the building shows its age, but it works for us. Most of the stuff we have is made by hand, so nothing looks exactly the same. We spend a lot of time unpacking crates and checking for any damage. The street outside is narrow and the air is always full of the smells from the nearby food stalls. It’s a lively place to work, even if it gets a bit overwhelming during the holidays. We don't really have a fancy display, just things piled up where they fit. We know most of our neighbors and we help each other out when things get busy. It’s not the kind of place you see in a magazine, but it’s real and we like it that way. We just keep the doors open and see who comes in looking for something.
