Our spot is over in Paschim Vihar, at D-80. If you know New Delhi, you know how busy it gets around here. We’ve been in this building for quite some time, and it feels like the walls have seen a lot of projects come and go. It’s not a big corporate skyscraper, just a regular place where we sit and figure out the logistics for the next site. The tea guy comes by twice a day and that’s usually when the most talking happens. There are always stacks of blueprints and yellowing papers on the tables because we aren't the best at filing things away immediately. It gets noisy outside with the traffic, especially during rush hour, but we just shut the windows and keep going. Usually, there’s a couple of us here answering the phone while the rest of the crew is out at various sites around the city. We don't have any fancy signs or a big reception desk. You just walk in and someone will be there to talk. Sometimes the internet is slow, and we end up just doing things the old-fashioned way with a pen and a notebook. It works for us. We've stayed in this neighborhood because it's central and people know where to find us. No one here wears a suit unless they really have to for a meeting. We’re usually in boots and dusty clothes. It’s just how it is.
