Our office is over in Sector 15, Part 2, right in the middle of the Urban Estate in Gurgaon. It’s a busy part of town, so there is always noise from the street, but we don't mind it much. Energy Infratech has been operating out of house number 1076 for a good bit of time. It's a practical setup, nothing too fancy or corporate. We spend most of our hours looking at blueprints or talking to contractors on the phone. Sometimes the power goes out in the summer, which is ironic for a company with energy in the name, but we manage with the backup. The staff here is mostly local people who live nearby. We know the shortcuts through the sector to avoid the worst of the traffic during rush hour. Our daily routine is pretty standard. We show up, drink some tea, and get into the technical details of the infrastructure projects we’re managing. We don't have a big marketing team or anything like that. It’s just us doing the actual engineering and planning work. The walls are covered in maps and project schedules. It’s a bit cluttered, but we know where everything is. If you’re looking for us, look for the gate near the corner; it’s easier to find that way. We just keep our heads down and try to finish the tasks on our list before the day is over and we head home.
