You can find us at 35 Link Road in Lajpat Nagar III. It’s a pretty busy part of the city, so there is always something going on outside our door. Elen Blossoms and Greens is where we spend most of our time, surrounded by plants and all sorts of greenery. The shop is usually a bit of a mess with dirt and leaves on the floor, but that’s just how it goes when you’re working with living things. We aren't some big corporate florist. We're just people who like plants and decided to make a business out of it. Some days are slow and we just sit around watering things, but other days it feels like we can't keep up with the people coming in. It gets pretty humid inside because of the plants, which isn't great for our hair but it's good for the stock. We’ve been in this spot for a while and the neighbors know us well. We don’t have any fancy mission statements or anything like that. We just show up, try to keep the plants alive, and help whoever walks through the door. It’s a lot of physical work, lifting pots and moving bags of soil around. But at the end of the day, it's nice to look at all the green stuff around us instead of just staring at a screen. We stay open late most nights because people like to stop by after work.
