Electrical Site Engineer In Siemens Company,Delhi

I’m an Electrical Site Engineer and I’ve been working with Siemens Company, mostly focusing on projects related to Delhi. Even though the work takes me there, I’m actually based out of Hyderabad. It’s a bit of a stretch between the two cities sometimes, but that’s just how the job goes. I spend a lot of my time on-site, making sure the electrical installations are going according to the Siemens standards and the project needs. Being a site engineer means I’m usually the one wearing the hard hat and walking through dusty construction areas. It’s not a desk job where you sit in the AC all day. I have to look at the cables, the switchgear, and the transformers to make sure everything is safe and functional. Even though I have the Siemens name on my badge, I’m just a regular guy from Hyderabad trying to make sure the lights stay on in the big projects up in Delhi. I don’t do any of the sales or the big meetings; my part is strictly about the engineering and the physical site work. It involves a lot of troubleshooting and figuring out why things aren't working like they should. It’s practical, hands-on stuff that requires a lot of patience. Some weeks I'm traveling back and forth, and other weeks I'm just focused on the technical reports. It's a busy life, but I like the technical side of the electrical world and seeing a project finally get powered up after months of hard work. That's the main thing. It keeps me busy.
