J. J. Electrical Corporation

J. J. Electrical Corporation is right in the middle of the chaos that is Bhagirath Palace. If you’ve ever been to the electrical market there, you know it’s a maze of narrow lanes and thousands of shops. Our place at 1815 is no different. It’s packed from floor to ceiling with boxes of switches, wires, and lighting fixtures. Sometimes I think if I moved one box, the whole pile might come down, but somehow we manage to find what the customer wants. It’s loud, it’s crowded, and there’s always someone shouting for a delivery. We’ve been in this market for a long time, watching it grow even more packed every year. We don’t have a big fancy storefront. Instead, we have a small counter where we talk to contractors and homeowners all day long. The lights in the market stay on late, and the energy is always high. You get used to the noise after a while. We aren’t looking to be the most famous shop in Delhi; we just want to sell our goods and make sure the accounts are right at the end of the day. It’s a family-run sort of feeling even though we have a few helpers. Bhagirath Palace is a unique place to work, and we wouldn’t really know what to do with ourselves if we were anywhere else. It’s just home for us and our business, even with the shouting and the dust.
