Ecil

Our spot is out in Sidhi, right off the Nh1 road in Vindyangara. The address is C103. Being near the highway means there is always a bit of dust and the sound of trucks passing by at all hours. It is a very practical location for what we do at Ecil. We don't need a fancy office in the middle of a city. This place works for us because it’s easy to get materials in and out. The building is pretty basic. We have some desks, a few chairs, and a lot of equipment stored in the back. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but we haven't gotten around to it yet. We spend most of our time out in the field anyway. When we are in the office, it’s mostly to catch up on paperwork or wait for deliveries. The weather in Madhya Pradesh can be tough, either really dry or very rainy, so the office is our main shelter. We keep a small stove for making tea and that’s about it for luxuries. It’s a hardworking environment. No one wears suits here. We are usually in boots and work clothes. It is just a small team of us trying to keep things moving along the Nh1. If you are driving past, you might miss us if you aren't looking for the C103 sign.
