Ecc - Division

Ecc - Division is located over in Joga Bai Extention, at R-148. It is a busy area of New Delhi, right near the border with U.P., so things can get a little hectic on the roads around here. Most days start with us trying to find a place to park or navigating the narrow lanes to get into the office. It is a lived-in space, not one of those glass buildings you see in the newer parts of the city. We have got a lot of files and some old furniture that has seen better days, but it is home for us during the work week. The tea stall around the corner is where we usually grab a drink when we need a break. It gets pretty hot in the summer, so the fans are always going full blast. We just focus on the tasks at hand, whether it is sorting through mail or keeping track of the schedules. There is a lot of noise from the street, vendors shouting and bikes going by, but you eventually stop hearing it. We have been at this address for a bit now, and we have gotten to know the neighbors. It is just a group of us working away in this small slice of Delhi. We don’t spend much time worrying about the decor. As long as the lights stay on and the internet works, we are alright. It is a practical setup for a practical job.
