Durga Lighting Co. is located at A-169 in Sudarshan Park. Moti Nagar is where we set everything up. It’s a decent area with plenty of activity. We spend most of our time looking at parts and putting things together. It isn't a glamorous job but it pays the bills. My cousin helped me set the place up originally. We’ve got shelves full of different components. You might have seen the A-169 sign if you live around here. We try to be helpful when someone comes in looking for something specific. Lighting can be tricky if you don't know the technical bits. We’ve learned a lot just by doing the work every day. Sometimes we stay late to finish up an order. The coffee machine in the corner is probably the most used thing in the office besides the screwdrivers. It’s a small team, just a few of us really. We know each other's habits by now. Moti Nagar has a lot of businesses but we’ve found our own little corner. We aren't trying to be the biggest company out there. We just want to make sure the stuff we put out actually works. If it doesn’t, we hear about it pretty fast. That’s how local business goes. We stay busy and we keep the lights on, literally and figuratively. It’s a living. Most people find us through neighbors. We’ve been at this address for a while now and we plan to stay for a good while longer.
