Draughts Man

You can find us right on the road behind Swayamprabha Kalyana Mantapa. We’re in Minakshi Nagar, specifically in the Kamakshi Palya area of Bangalore-79. If there’s a wedding or a function at the hall, the street gets really busy with cars and people. Our spot is a bit more tucked away though. We’ve been here for quite a while now. The office is pretty basic. It’s where we do all the draughting and planning. Usually, the day starts with a lot of pens and rulers on the table. We don't really have a big staff, just a few people who know how to draw plans. The noise from the main road drifts in sometimes, but we’re used to the Bangalore hustle. It’s a working-class neighborhood and we fit right in. There isn't any fancy lobby or receptionist here. If you come by, you’ll just see us working at our stations. We spend hours looking at blueprints and making sure the details are right. It’s honest work. Sometimes we go out for a quick bite at the local shops nearby. The work keeps us busy from morning till evening. It’s a straightforward setup behind the marriage hall. We just focus on getting the drawings finished on time. That’s the daily life for us here in Minakshi Nagar. It’s simple, it’s noisy sometimes, but it’s where we get things done.
