Dlf Services Ltd. has been over at 10-A/19 Shakti Nagar in Delhi for some time now. This area is pretty packed, like most of North Delhi, so things are always moving outside our door. The zip code is 110 007 if you’re looking it up. Our office isn't one of those high-rise glass buildings you see in the newer parts of the city. It’s an older building with a lot of character and maybe a few squeaky floorboards. We like it that way because it feels real. On a typical Tuesday, you’ll hear the street vendors shouting their prices and the general hum of the Shakti Nagar traffic. Inside, we’re mostly focused on getting through the paperwork and answering the phone. We don't use scripts or corporate talk when we speak to people. It’s just us. Sometimes the power goes out for a bit, and we just wait it out or find something else to do that doesn't need a computer. It's a small team, so everyone knows what needs to happen. We don't have fancy titles or big meetings. We just talk over the desks. Getting here can be a bit of a trek depending on the Metro or the rickshaws, but once you’re here, it’s a calm enough spot to work. We’ve been part of this neighborhood long enough to know where to get the best lunch nearby, which is probably the most important thing for us.
