Divine Transmission Systems

We have been here at Shradhanand Marg for a while now, up on the first floor at number 641. It is a busy spot and sometimes the noise from the street gets a bit loud, but you get used to it after a few days. Most of our day is spent dealing with gears and transmission parts. It is not glamorous work, mostly just greasy hands and making sure the inventory matches what the books say. We have some old desks and the fan in the corner makes a clicking sound that nobody has bothered to fix yet. People come in looking for specific parts that they can’t find elsewhere, and we spend time digging through the shelves. It gets dusty, especially in the summer when the windows are open to catch a breeze. We don’t have a big fancy reception area or anything like that. It is just a workspace where we get things done. Sometimes the tea guy from downstairs forgets our order, so we just walk down and get it ourselves. There are a few of us here who have been working together for years, so we know where everything is even if it looks a bit messy to an outsider. The stairs are a bit steep, so we always tell people to watch their step when they come up. It is a straightforward place, really. We just focus on the transmission systems and try to keep everything moving. Not much else to it than that.
