Krishna Devi Company is based at House No. 68 in Ratiram Colony. If you are looking for us, we are right near Adarsh Public School, so it's easy to find. You can usually hear the kids playing during recess if the windows are open, which happens a lot when the fans aren't enough. It’s a residential-feeling area, which makes the work day feel a bit more relaxed than being in a big commercial center or a loud factory zone. Our office is part of the colony life. We see the same neighbors walking their dogs every morning while we are opening up the shutters. We do a bit of everything here, mostly administrative stuff and keeping track of local orders. The space is a bit tight because we have a lot of ledgers and boxes stacked up, but we know where everything is. We aren't trying to impress anyone with a polished lobby or a front desk person. Usually, whoever is closest to the door just gets up to see who it is. We’ve been part of Ratiram Colony for a good while now. The school nearby means traffic is heavy in the afternoon, so we usually time our breaks and deliveries around that rush. We just focus on getting the daily tasks finished without making a big fuss about it. It’s honest work. We have a kettle in the corner for tea, and that’s about as fancy as it gets. We like it this way because it’s simple.
