Jmd Chem Inc.

Our business, Jmd Chem Inc., is situated at D-63/4 in Dilshad Colony. It is a bit of a tight squeeze back here in this part of the colony, but we have made it work for our chemical distribution. We don't manufacture anything on site, we mostly just store and move products to our customers. The place is filled with blue drums and plastic containers of different sizes. I spend most of my time at the desk in the front room, dealing with orders and talking to suppliers on the phone. It’s a lot of logistical work, trying to figure out the best way to get things delivered in these narrow streets. Dilshad Colony is a nice place to be, though it can get quite crowded in the afternoons. We have a few local boys who help us with the heavy lifting and loading the small trucks that come by. We try to keep everything as clean as possible, which is a challenge when you are dealing with chemicals and powders. We don't have a fancy showroom or any brochures to give out. If you need something, we just show you what we have in the back. It’s a very straightforward way of doing things. We’ve been here for several years now and we know most of the people on this block. It’s a simple operation and we like it that way. We just keep our heads down and do the work.
