Our office at 43-C Mashigarh is right in the Sukhdev Vihar area, very close to Jamia Nagar. It is a busy part of New Delhi and there is always something happening right outside the door. The office is a bit of a walk from the main road through some narrow lanes, but it is easy to find once you have been here once. It is a tight space because we have a lot of equipment and boxes packed into the rooms. We have shelves reaching up to the ceiling full of folders and old records. It is definitely not a corporate showroom with glass walls. The paint is a bit scuffed from moving crates around over the years. We share the building with several other small businesses and families, so the atmosphere is always lively and loud. You can hear the sounds of traffic and street vendors all day long. Finding a parking spot for a car is almost impossible, so we always tell people to just take an auto-rickshaw to the corner. We have a small electric kettle for making coffee and some biscuits hidden in the desk drawers for the afternoon. It is the kind of place where everyone knows each other. We work hard, keep the lights on, and try to stay organized despite the general chaos of the city. It is a very practical location for us.
