Our office for Dhl India Pvt Ltd is located over in Aishwarya Tower, specifically in units 45 and 46. Being positioned just off C.S.T Road in the Kalina area of Santacruz East makes every day a bit of an adventure. If you have ever spent time in this part of Mumbai, you already know how fast everything moves. It is a crowded and noisy neighborhood, but that is exactly where you want to be if you are involved in the logistics business. We spend our work hours tucked away in the tower, managing all the small details that come with moving goods across the country. It involves a lot of coordination and even more phone calls. Our team here is small, but they know the city’s layout better than anyone. Getting around Kalina can be a real struggle when the traffic peaks, so we have learned to plan our delivery timings very carefully to avoid the worst of it. The office itself is pretty basic and doesn't have any of that corporate shine. We have our desks, some old metal filing cabinets that have been here forever, and a coffee machine that probably works too hard. We do not have much time for long meetings or fancy presentations. There is always a new delivery to track or a customer waiting on the line for an update. It is just honest, practical work. Mumbai moves fast, so we just try to keep up from our corner here in the tower.
