Devgan Handicraft

Our place is at Plot No.1275 in Chandni Chowk, which is right near the Jama Masjid. If you know the area, you know how busy it gets. Devgan Handicraft is right in the middle of all that noise and energy. The building is old, like most things around here, and we’ve got a lot of stuff packed into our space. We handle handicrafts, so there are always carvings, textiles, and little trinkets everywhere you look. It’s hard to move around sometimes without bumping into a crate or a stack of boxes. The smell of the market—spices, old stone, and food—drifts into our shop all day. We spend a lot of time talking to people who walk in from the street, even though most of our work is for sending things further away. It’s a lot of manual work, wrapping items in bubble wrap and taping up boxes for transport. Our office part is just a small corner with an old desk and a computer that’s seen better days. We don’t mind the chaos of Chandni Chowk; it’s just part of being here. We know the other shopkeepers and we usually get our lunch from the stalls nearby. It isn’t a corporate office by any means. It’s just a busy workshop where we try to keep up with the orders coming in. We’ve been in this spot for years and don't plan on moving anywhere else soon.
