Delhi Tirpal House

If you have ever been to Sadar Bazar, you know how packed the streets get around the Qutab Road Chowk. Our place, Delhi Tirpal House, is on the first floor at Office No 3550. You have to navigate through the crowds of people and find the right stairs to get up to where we are. Once you get inside, it is a little bit quieter, but you can still hear all the honking from the cars down below. We have rolls of tarpaulin stacked up almost to the ceiling in the back rooms. It has that specific smell of heavy plastic and canvas that seems to stick to everything we own. We spend a lot of time cutting pieces to size or checking the grommets on the edges. It is mostly just us and the stock. Sometimes the light in the hallway is a bit dim, so we have to use a small torch to find the right colors or sizes in the back corner. We are not doing anything special here, just handling the orders that come in through the door. People in the market are always in a rush, so we try to get things sorted as fast as we can. Dealing with the tirpals is heavy work because those big rolls weigh a lot. We usually have a few guys helping to move things around when a customer needs something specific. It is a simple operation on the first floor.
