We are right in the heart of Old Delhi at 2598 Chatta Pratap Singh in Kinari Bazar. If you know Kinari Bazar, you know how crowded and narrow the lanes are. It’s a world away from the big glass buildings of New Delhi. We are part of the Delhi Satate Industrial & Infrastructure Dev. Corp. Ltd. Our office is tucked away in one of those old buildings. You have to navigate through the shoppers and the rickshaws to find us. It’s noisy and vibrant and smells like street food most of the time. The office itself is old. The ceilings are high and the walls have that classic yellow government paint. We don't have much space, so files are everywhere. We manage industrial stuff and infrastructure from this tiny spot. It’s a bit of a squeeze, but it works. We’ve been here a long time and the shopkeepers nearby are like family. We don't use big slogans. We just try to get the work done amidst the chaos of the bazaar. Sometimes the power goes out, and we just wait it out or work by the windows. It’s a very local way of doing things. You won't find any fancy signs here. Just a small plate on the door and a lot of busy people inside working hard to keep things organized. It is a unique place to work, but we like it.
