We've been operating out of Laxmi Nagar for a while now, specifically at 122/B-28 in Guru Nanak Pura. Delhi is a busy place and the metro is a big part of how people get around every day. Our office here handles a lot of the local coordination. It’s not a fancy setup, just a regular spot in a crowded neighborhood where the staff comes in to handle paperwork and meetings related to the rail network. Sometimes it gets a bit noisy outside with the traffic, but that is just part of being in this part of Delhi-92. People often drop by asking for directions or info about the lines. We try to keep things organized despite the constant rush of the city. There is a lot of back-and-forth between our desk here and the actual stations. Most of what we do involves checking schedules and making sure the staff rotations are sorted. It’s practical work. We don't have a big reception area or anything, just desks and filing cabinets. Being in Laxmi Nagar means we are right in the middle of things, which helps when we need to reach different parts of the network quickly. It’s a job that keeps us on our toes and the office is pretty much always buzzing with something to do. Just a bunch of us working to keep things moving along as they should. The tea stall downstairs is where most of us end up during breaks. It's a simple life here at the Delhi Metro Rail Corp. Ltd. office.
