Delhi Metro Rail Corp. Ltd

It might seem a bit unusual to find a Delhi Metro Rail Corp. Ltd office all the way out here in Pondicherry, but we are right here at 162 Kamatchi Amman Koil Street. Our office is in a traditional-looking area, quite different from the fast-paced streets of Delhi. It’s a smaller branch, focusing on specific regional tasks and coordination that needs to happen from the south. The building is older and has that classic Pondicherry feel to it. We don't have a massive team here. It’s just a few of us who know the local area well. We handle our paperwork, talk to the headquarters up north, and make sure our part of the project is moving along. The street outside is often busy with people going to the temple or the shops, so there’s always a bit of life around us. We don’t have a high-tech security gate or anything; it’s just a regular door on the street. Inside, it’s all business with computers and stacks of documents. We enjoy the slower pace of 605 001 compared to the capital. We aren't here to be flashy or corporate. We just represent the Delhi Metro interests in this part of the country. It’s a quiet, steady kind of job we do every day. Sometimes the salt air gets into the office, but we don't mind. We just keep on with the filings and the calls. It’s a long way from the tracks, but we stay connected to the work.
