We've been at 167/3, Mehrauli for a while now. Delhi Integrated Multi-Modal Transit System Ltd is what the sign says on the door. It’s a busy spot in New Delhi, plenty of traffic outside most days. People coming and going. We mostly just keep our heads down and do what needs doing. It’s not a fancy office or anything like that. Just a regular place where work gets done. Sometimes the power goes out or the internet acts up, but we manage. Being in Mehrauli means there's always something happening nearby. The address is easy enough to find if you know the area. We’ve got a few desks, some chairs, and plenty of paperwork to go around. It’s a bit cramped when everyone is in at the same time, but we make it work. Most of us have been here long enough that we don’t even notice the noise from the street anymore. Delhi Integrated Multi-Modal Transit System Ltd sounds like a mouthful, doesn't it? Most people just call us by part of it. It’s funny how names stick. Anyway, if you ever find yourself near 167/3, you might see us out grabbing tea or heading home after a long shift. We aren't trying to be anything we aren't. Just a group of people working in this corner of New Delhi. The walls could use a fresh coat of paint maybe, but it feels like home to us after all these years. That's about it really. Just us and the daily routine.
