Delhi Aluminium Work Job

You can find our shop at No 11 in D Block, Lakshmi Nagar. It is a small place, mostly packed with aluminium sections and different types of glass panes. There is almost always some cutting going on, so you will hear the loud screech of the saw if you are walking anywhere nearby. It gets a bit messy with all the metal shavings on the floor, but that is just how this kind of work goes. We do all sorts of aluminium jobs, mostly things like window frames or office partitions for the local businesses. It is just a few of us working here every day. We spend a lot of our time out at different sites measuring things and doing installations, so sometimes the shop is just one person waiting for customers. Lakshmi Nagar is a very crowded area, so getting our materials in and out can be a bit of a headache with the narrow streets and the traffic. We have a small, cluttered desk where we sketch out designs on scrap paper before we start cutting. It is not a high-tech operation by any means. We rely on our hands and the tools we have used for years. Most people in the block know us by our names. We don't have a big corporate mission, we just make sure the frames fit right and nothing rattles. It is practical work that keeps us busy and the bills paid.
