Colortree Pvt. Ltd. is situated at Khasra No. 80, in Gali No. 8 over in Samai Pur. We are right near the Samai Pur Chopal, which is a big landmark for everyone around here. Gali No. 8 is a bit narrow, so it can be tricky when we have a delivery truck coming in. We usually have to help guide them so they don't hit any of the parked bikes. Our workspace is full of different shades and dyes because that’s what we do. It’s a bit of a messy job, and most of us have stains on our clothes by the end of the shift. We aren’t a huge corporation; we are just a local team trying to get the colors right. The building itself is pretty basic, with a tin roof that makes a lot of noise when it rains. We have a small area in the back where we keep the raw materials. It’s not very organized to look at, but we have our own system. Most of the guys live nearby, so they walk or cycle to work. We start early in the morning before it gets too hot. During lunch, we sit around the Chopal sometimes to get some fresh air. It’s a steady kind of work, and we just take it one day at a time. We don't do anything fancy, just make sure the colors are ready and the batches are moving out the door.
