CLD Electronics

CLD Electronics is located at units 3 and 4 in the Mohkampur Industrial Area, Phase 2. This is right off the main Delhi Road in Meerut. The space is fairly large because we ended up combining the two units to fit everything. We have different sections set up for the assembly work and the testing of the boards. It is not a very pretty building from the outside, just a standard grey industrial unit. We have got a lot of workbenches and soldering stations scattered around. The smell of solder and warm electronics is pretty much always in the air. We have a small office section where we handle the billing and the phone calls. Most of the time it is just the sound of tools clicking and the local radio playing in the background to keep us company. Meerut can get very hot in the summer months so the water coolers are always running. We buy our supplies from local vendors whenever we can. The neighbors are mostly into manufacturing or auto parts. We know the tea guy who comes by twice a day very well. We do not have a big marketing budget or a website that we update much. People usually just call our landline or drop by the gate. It is a hands-on kind of job and we do not spend much on fancy advertising. We keep the floor swept daily but the walls could use a fresh coat of paint eventually.
