Aman & Sons

Aman & Sons has been operating out of 17 Civil Lines Road for quite some time. We are right near the Exchange Store, which is a landmark everyone around here seems to know. It’s a decent area, a bit more open than the old markets, but the road still gets jammed up during the rush hour. The office is a bit old-fashioned, with heavy wooden desks and files stacked up in the corners. My father started this, and now we just keep it moving along. We aren't trying to be the biggest company out there, we just want to do right by the people who come through our doors. Most days are spent on the phone or handling paperwork that never seems to end. We have a small crew, and we’ve all been working together for years, so we don’t really need to say much to know what needs to happen next. There is a small tea shop nearby where we usually grab a bite when things get too busy to go home for lunch. The walls are covered in old calendars and some photos from back when we first moved in. It’s a bit dusty, and the ceiling fan makes a clicking sound on high speed, but it is our space. We just show up every morning, open the shutters, and get to work on whatever is on the desk for that day.
