New Star Collection

We are located at 2449 Nai Wara in Chawri Bazar. It’s near the Bhatar Char Rasta, which is always a mess of traffic and people. New Star Collection is a place where we keep all sorts of items piled up. The building is old, and the stairs are a bit steep if you're coming up to see what we have. Chawri Bazar is a crazy place to work, but it’s where everything happens. We have been here for years, through the heat and the monsoons. Our shop doesn't look like much from the outside. It’s just a doorway with some signs and a few samples hanging near the entrance. Inside, we have racks and shelves that are mostly full of boxes. We spend our days sorting through the collection and talking to the wholesale buyers who come through from the other states. Sometimes we have to move heavy bundles around, which is a real workout for us. We don't use fancy words to describe what we do. We just sell what we have in stock and hope the customers are satisfied. The tea here is good, and we usually get a glass from the guy across the way twice a day. The power goes out sometimes, and we just use flashlights or open the windows wider to let in light. It’s a noisy, dusty, and busy life, but it’s ours. We know the rhythm of the market by heart. People come to us because they know we’ve been at this address for a long time. It is just a simple business in a crowded city.
