Kailash Chand Aggarwal Sons is located at No. 3618 in Chawri Bazar. If you are near the Hauz Qazi Chowk in Delhi, you are pretty much there. This part of the city is always packed with people and rickshaws. It is one of those old-school markets where everything is moving all the time. Our shop has been here through a lot of changes in the city. The building is old and has that specific smell of paper and dust that you find in Delhi 110006. We do our business from this small space and it works for what we need. It is a family thing and we have been at it for a long time, so we know the trade. There isn't much room to move around inside when we have a lot of stock piled up. Most of the day is spent talking to people who walk in or handling the deliveries that come through the narrow lanes. It is loud and busy but we are used to the noise from the street. Sometimes we sit outside on the steps when it is not too hot. We don't use fancy computers for everything; a lot of things are still done the old way with pens and ledgers. It is a simple life in a very crowded place. We just try to keep the business going like our father and grandfather did before us. The chai wallah comes by every two hours.
