Tejoo Fashions

Tejoo Fashions is located at 692 Bagh Deewar on Station Road. If you know the area, you know how crowded it gets with all the people coming from the railway station. It’s a loud place to work, but we are used to it by now. The shop is tucked away in an old building. We spend most of our time dealing with different types of clothes and fabrics. Usually, the morning starts with us moving stacks of clothes around to make space. The light isn't the best inside, so we have these bright tubes everywhere. It’s a family-run kind of thing, so there’s always someone talking or arguing about where a certain box went. We don’t have a fancy showroom with mannequins. It’s more of a place where things are stored and sorted before they go out to the customers. The floor is mostly covered in plastic wrapping and scraps. Sometimes the traffic on Station Road is so bad that the delivery vans can't even get close to the door. We have to carry things by hand quite a bit. It's just the way it works in this part of town. We’ve been here for a long time and we know most of the other shopkeepers on the block. We just keep our heads down and keep the business going. It’s a lot of lifting and folding, but it’s honest work and it keeps the lights on for us. Sometimes we stay late when there is a big load to finish.
