Sanchit Silk Mills

You’ll find Sanchit Silk Mills at 630 Katra Asharfi. We are right in the middle of Chandni Chowk, not too far from the Town Hall. If you’ve ever been to this area, you know how narrow the lanes are and how many people are always walking by. It’s a very old spot, and our place reflects that. The walls are thick, and the space is packed with rolls of silk and fabric. There isn't much room to move around once the stock comes in. We’ve been in Katra Asharfi for a long time. It’s a place where everyone knows everyone else’s business. The smell of street food from the nearby vendors always drifts in during the afternoons. It’s noisy, crowded, and busy, but that’s just how Chandni Chowk is. We don't have a big sign or a fancy entrance. You just walk in and see us working among the stacks of cloth. Lighting isn't always the best in these old buildings, so we have a few extra lamps around the desks. We spend our days talking to traders and making sure the silk gets to where it needs to go. There’s no corporate hierarchy here; we just all chip in and get the work done. It’s a bit chaotic, especially when it rains and the lanes get muddy, but we wouldn't be anywhere else.
