We are located at No. 964 in the Bhojpura Maliwara area of Chandini Chowk. If you’ve ever walked through those lanes, you know it’s a world of its own. It’s loud, crowded, and there’s always someone pushing past you with a heavy load. Our shop has been here for a long time, tucked away in one of those narrow streets. Inside, the walls are covered in boxes of sarees from the floor all the way to the ceiling. It’s not a modern showroom with fancy lights. We have mattresses on the floor where people sit while we show them the different fabrics. It’s the old-fashioned way of doing things in Delhi. My family has been doing this for years, and I’ve spent most of my life in this shop. We drink a lot of tea and talk to the neighbors between customers. During the wedding season, the lane gets so packed you can barely move. It’s a lot of work, and the heat can be really tough in the middle of the day. We don't have a website or do any big promotions. People know where we are, and they come to us when they need something for a special occasion. It’s a simple, honest business and we just keep doing what we know best. Sometimes we run out of space, but we manage to find what the customer wants eventually.
