Operating a business like Image Security System in Chandni Chowk is an experience. We are right near Lal Quila, so the area is always packed with tourists, rickshaws, and people rushing everywhere. It’s noisy and crowded from the moment we open the shutters in the morning. Our shop is small, like most of the places in this part of Delhi. We have cameras, wires, and monitors tucked into every available shelf. It’s a bit of a maze inside sometimes. We spend a lot of our time explaining how the different systems work to people who walk in off the street. Since we are so close to the Red Fort, there’s always a police presence around, which is just part of the daily view. The old buildings here have a lot of character, but the wiring can be a nightmare to deal with. We do a lot of the installations ourselves, so we are often out and about in the neighborhood carrying ladders and toolboxes through the narrow lanes. It’s not an easy place to navigate with a lot of gear. We stop for tea at the stall around the corner a couple of times a day. We don't have a website or anything like that; people just know us because we’ve been here near the fort for years. It’s a hectic way to work, but we are used to the rhythm of the chowk by now. It keeps us on our toes.
