Fashion Yug

Fashion Yug is tucked away at No. 843-13 in the New Krishna Market, right in the heart of Chandni Chowk. If you have ever been to Chandni Chowk, you know it is a maze of narrow lanes and thousands of shops. Our place is no different. It’s a small space, but we pack a lot of stuff into it. We spend our days surrounded by piles of clothes and rolls of fabric. The market is always loud and there is always someone moving a cart through the narrow alleys. We’ve been here for a long time, and the address hasn't changed. It’s a tough place to work sometimes because of the heat and the crowds, but it’s where all the action is. We don't use any fancy advertising because everyone knows where New Krishna Market is. Most of our customers are shopkeepers from other towns or local people who have been coming to us for years. We aren't trying to be a modern mall store. We are a traditional market shop. We drink a lot of tea and talk to whoever walks in. It’s a lot of physical work, carrying loads and climbing ladders to reach the top shelves. We just do our business and try to get through the day. It’s a busy life in Delhi, but we wouldn't know what else to do if we weren't here. It is just life.
